Cathedral Music

The Cathedral prides itself on a fine tradition of church music.  For inquiries regarding the choir, or cantors, please contact the Music Administrator music@stpatricks.org.nz.

The Cathedral Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings and sings at the 11am Sunday Mass, fortnightly, as well as at principle Feast Days. The choir sings a varied repertoire, from polyphony to more contemporary.

The Cathedral Vocal Ensemble (6 voices) sings on average two 11am Masses each month; members are professional singers. The repertoire largely comprises plainsong and Renaissance polyphony.

Cantors: Maeve Herd, Raymond Kim, Pamela L'Estrange, David Lorier-May, Joselito Paraiso, Henrietta Reid, Chris Stoddard, Elizabeth Sayegh.
